Blogger doesn't accept javascript in the main html editor.
when you add embeded and other types of media objects in the main html editor,
it messes about your main design (layout) page, so that you cannot edit any element, unless you remove first the object from the main html editor.

For all bloggers, bloggers followers curious and lobyists...
1-It takes quite a a long time and strife to learn that the best way to really portrait your blog page is to erase everything that you don't want in the page. Put it all in blank! (this just for html and css experimenters or scientists lol)
2- When you have an element in the layout, for instance a picture element / gadget, its not possible to change or swap in the same page the same element into some other gadget or element, for instance an html/javascript element. You have to delete and create another element from layout main page.
3- it's not possible to upload .swf , gif, etc.. or other media related files . You will always depend on neighbour hostings, (the term " neighbour" because the farther it is from your final stage or display/site the slower it will load!).
4- Although blogger offers an easy CMM content management system, user-friendly interactive interface, for non html / other developers script, there are some simple things that could make a user life's easier.
a- You cant erase the blogger default navbar directly from the edit element in the customise layout page . Or for instance put an image in the navbar background. Though there are ways you can achieve that if you aquire some basic html and css skills.
